These Terms of Service govern your use of our service at Jasper Vermeulen, except where we expressly state that separate terms (and not these) apply, and provide information about the Jasper Vermeulen service, outlined below.

All services provided by Jasper Vermeulen will be referenced and named under Jasper Vermeulen.

2. Scope of Services

Jasper Vermeulen agrees to provide web development services to the client as described in the project proposal or contract. Any changes or additions to the scope of services must be agreed upon in writing.

3. Payment and Fees
  • Clients agree to pay Jasper Vermeulen the agreed-upon fees and expenses as outlined in the project proposal or contract.
  • Payment terms and methods will be specified in the project proposal or contract.
4. Client Responsibilities
  • Clients must provide all necessary materials, information, and access required for the web development project.
  • Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving project milestones and deliverables promptly.
5. Project Timeline

Jasper Vermeulen will provide an estimated project timeline. While we strive to meet deadlines, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any changes in the timeline promptly.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the client will own the rights to the completed web development project. Jasper Vermeulen retains the right to showcase the project in our portfolio.

7. Warranty and Support

We provide a [specific duration, e.g., 30-day] warranty period during which we will address any issues arising from our work. Additional support and maintenance services may be available as agreed upon in the project proposal or contract.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information shared during the project.

9. Limitation of Liability

Jasper Vermeulen is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the project.

10. Mailing Limits

Clients are entitled to receive up to 250 mail submissions per month as part of our services, unless otherwise specified in the project proposal or contract. If a client exceeds this limit, Jasper Vermeulen will notify the client of the overage. The client will then have the following options:

  • Option 1: Stop sending additional mails to stay within the allocated limit.
  • Option 2: Choose to send additional mails beyond the limit and be billed at a rate of €5 for an additional 500 extra mails. These charges will be added to the client's invoice.

Jasper Vermeulen will provide adequate notice before implementing any additional charges for exceeded mailing limits.

11. Changes to Terms

Jasper Vermeulen may update or modify these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised terms on our website.

12. Domain Services

a. Domain Leasing: Jasper Vermeulen may offer domain registration and leasing services to clients as part of our web development projects. Domain registration is subject to the terms and conditions of the domain provider, which may vary depending on the chosen domain registrar.

b. Pricing: Domain pricing is typically set at an average of €12.99 per year, as of the last update of these Terms. However, please note that domain pricing is subject to change based on the policies and pricing structures of the domain provider. Jasper Vermeulen does not take any profit from the leasing of domains to clients. The cost of domain registration is fully dependent on the domain provider's fees.

c. Choice of Providers: Jasper Vermeulen commonly utilizes reputable domain registrars such as Google Domains, Namecheap, or GoDaddy for domain registration. The choice of domain registrar may vary depending on project requirements.

f. Transfers: If a client wishes to transfer their domain away from Jasper Vermeulen to another provider, they are free to do so. Any associated fees or requirements for domain transfers will be the client's responsibility.

g. Disputes: Jasper Vermeulen is not liable for any domain-related disputes or issues that may arise. Clients should address domain disputes directly with the domain registrar.

13. Data Loss Disclaimer

a. General Disclaimer: Jasper Vermeulen takes all necessary precautions to ensure the reliability and security of data transmission, including form submissions. However, it is important to note that electronic communications, including email and form submissions, are subject to various factors beyond our control.

b. Data Loss Possibility: Jasper Vermeulen acknowledges that, on rare occasions, technical issues, server errors, or other unforeseen circumstances may result in data loss or delivery failures, such as form submissions not reaching the intended inbox.

c. Client Responsibilities: Clients are encouraged to regularly monitor their email and communication systems to ensure the timely receipt of important messages and form submissions. It is the client's responsibility to report any suspected data loss or communication issues promptly to Studio Billy.

d. Limitation of Liability: Jasper Vermeulen shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or inconvenience arising from data loss, including but not limited to missed form submissions, delayed emails, or other communication issues. Our liability is limited to providing reasonable efforts to address and rectify any technical issues.

e. Backup and Redundancy: Clients are advised to implement their own data backup and redundancy solutions to mitigate the impact of potential data loss.

f. Notification: In the event Jasper Vermeulen becomes aware of any technical issues that may have caused data loss or communication failures, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients and work towards resolving the issue promptly.
